So then, they are no longer two but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let not man separate. - Matthew 19:6

Speaker:

Hi, everyone.

2

:

Welcome back to another

episode of I Can So He Can.

3

:

I am here with not another

episode of the Sound Mind series.

4

:

As I mentioned last week, we were

going to start Revelation And while

5

:

I don't think really many people care

about what's going on in my life, um,

6

:

I really did want to share it anyway,

and just a little bit of, like, overhead

7

:

details because you can't hold back,

sometimes in things that you learn

8

:

and things that you grow from in life.

9

:

And I re- really, really felt, in

my heart today specifically, that

10

:

this is what I should be recording

about and not about Revelation.

11

:

Now, that's not to say that I have

not been working on the Sound Mind

12

:

series, uh, the Book of Revelation.

13

:

I promised you guys that that's

what we were going to do because

14

:

I did the book of Jude last week.

15

:

And to show you guys that I am not

kidding and I was going to record

16

:

Revelation, I even started taking notes.

17

:

Like, I have my Bible obviously here,

and as always, New King James Version.

18

:

There's no funny business when

it comes to what I read from.

19

:

I read strictly from the Bible,

and I can show you, as always,

20

:

all my little notes on here.

21

:

See all these little notes?

22

:

This is chapter one.

23

:

I don't know why I'm showing you guys.

24

:

I know you believe me, but this

is, like, part of, uh, chapter

25

:

two going into chapter three.

26

:

Look at all those, like,

little things there.

27

:

Like, it's a lot.

28

:

But nonetheless, um, it is a lot of

information just in chapter one and

29

:

chapter two that I am getting from it.

30

:

Um, it's not to say that it's so crazy

that you won't understand it, but I read

31

:

the Bible now in a very particular way,

and when I am reading something that

32

:

has a lot of prophetic-type text, like

the Book of Revelation, I definitely

33

:

want to know that I am in the zone and

I am understanding, and that I fully

34

:

comprehend and have a grasp on, um,

what it is that it's talking about.

35

:

Um, and like I said, like, I even

have pages of notes and stuff

36

:

that I've been learning from.

37

:

Again, I'm just…

38

:

This is literally, like, a breakdown,

like, verse by verse what questions

39

:

that I had and, and things like that.

40

:

So I am very, very excited

to share this with you guys.

41

:

I will be recording it soon,

but like I said, today I

42

:

wanted to share my revelation.

43

:

And to be precise, I'm not trying

to be, like, funny and make fun of

44

:

the Book of Revelation by no means.

45

:

I even looked up the meaning of the word

revelation just to be sure, and it says

46

:

that a revelation is a surprising and

previously unknown fact, especially one

47

:

that is made known in a dramatic way.

48

:

Obviously, um, another definition

of it is the divine or supernatural

49

:

disclosure to humans of something

relating to human existence or the world.

50

:

But I am definitely using my revelation

in a fact that I'm sharing in a dramatic

51

:

way, and to me, this is very dramatic.

52

:

Like, why not dedicate an entire

episode to this little, um, unknown,

53

:

now soon to be known, fact of my life?

54

:

But anyway, um, as you can

tell, this is all unscripted.

55

:

Um, but anyway, let me get to the point.

56

:

Um, so that you guys know, if you have

heard a few of my past episodes, you

57

:

will hear that I was previously married.

58

:

Um, there's a lot of, like, you know, um,

stuff that were discussed with my best

59

:

friend and I in some very early episodes.

60

:

Um- So if you guys wanna dive

into some of those, that's great.

61

:

Not having to do specifically,

like, with the marriage, but

62

:

just, you know, surrounding our

life and, you know, at that time.

63

:

However, current day, um, that is,

you know, very much in the past,

64

:

and I am extremely, extremely happy.

65

:

I'm extremely happy.

66

:

I feel very blessed.

67

:

I feel like I have grown just so much in

the past few months, not just spiritually,

68

:

'cause I feel like that has been a

very long ongoing process for me, uh,

69

:

the past two years, and it will

continue to be because, you know, in

70

:

terms of, you know, some people, I

may be a baby Christian, whatever.

71

:

I don't even care about that anymore.

72

:

But- I have matured, I feel, in my

humble opinion, and please hear me.

73

:

I really say that, like, humbly.

74

:

I'm not, like, being like,

"Oh, my God, I'm so mature."

75

:

Anyway, my point is that I feel

that I have matured so much because

76

:

I have received so much, so much,

um, critique for decisions in life.

77

:

And in a way, I want to compare this

very lightly and very subtly, um, to

78

:

persecution of people and their faith.

79

:

And not only did I receive, um,

critiques and, you know, judgment and

80

:

ugly words from people very close to

me regarding my faith when I started

81

:

going to church, but even now in recent

months, um, I have received a lot of

82

:

critique from especially family, um,

regarding my life and, and that's okay.

83

:

We are going to deal with things

like this in life, and believe me,

84

:

whoever is watching, I know you

guys have been going through trials.

85

:

Maybe not the trials

that I have gone through.

86

:

Maybe your trials are worse than mine.

87

:

Um, so I do still think I am very blessed.

88

:

I would like to, um, implore you guys

to please analyze your life and the

89

:

things that you do have over the things

that you don't have, um, because there's

90

:

always someone who is worse off, uh,

for lack of a better word, um, with

91

:

the things that they don't have and

whatever place they are in their life.

92

:

But to come to my happy news, I am now

remarried, and I know that you've heard

93

:

his name, David, in several episodes.

94

:

Um, but we did marry on June 3rd,

which is, like, two days ago.

95

:

Um, we knew it was gonna happen.

96

:

Uh, like, honestly, we knew it from

the very beginning , like, from when he

97

:

and I met, um, which we met through his

sister, which is a very, very good friend

98

:

of mine, and now she's stuck with me.

99

:

She's my sister.

100

:

Um, which Dagmara does her

lives on TikTok in Spanish, um,

101

:

and someti- well, Spanglish.

102

:

Sometimes it goes in and out, but mostly

in Spanish reading, um, a daily proverb.

103

:

And, you know, just in support,

I always jumped on, and honestly

104

:

because I was also, um, starting

to read the Word a lot more.

105

:

So I do credit her, um, for how

much I started reading the Word.

106

:

Um, and it was because she did it

daily, and she was very faithful, and

107

:

she still continues to do her, um, uh,

108

:

That's what she calls it.

109

:

Um, basically a proverb a

day, um, keeps you in wisdom.

110

:

I don't know how to, like, say it in,

like, a Funny, catchy way in English.

111

:

It doesn't translate the same, but

essentially that's what it means.

112

:

Um, so anyway, to not continue to

ramble, um, David and I met there,

113

:

started a friendship, and Lord behold,

he lived in a whole other state.

114

:

I lived here in Florida.

115

:

We went through just stresses of,

like, how we were going to see

116

:

each other, hours and hours just

on the phone and talking and…

117

:

But we just kinda knew.

118

:

Like, we just kinda knew that, like,

we were it for each other somehow.

119

:

Um, and it's funny, in my eyes,

in my mind, how the Lord works,

120

:

that everything in my life

changed when he came into my life.

121

:

And it wasn't because he came into my

life, it just, the domino effect of

122

:

different things in my family and, um,

in my personal life just, everything just

123

:

kind of, like, collapsed in a positive

way because other things were flourishing.

124

:

And I say that to say that it doesn't

matter how much you think that sometimes

125

:

things may be falling apart, you

have to trust in God, and you have to

126

:

trust in what you know that you feel

the Lord is speaking to you about and

127

:

He is showing you and revealing to

you, um, because He's preparing you.

128

:

He's preparing things, and He's

preparing you for the things that He has.

129

:

And I thought I was being obedient in

my previous marriage, but the reality

130

:

is, and really understanding now, um,

is that I wasn't properly listening.

131

:

I, first of all, shouldn't

have been married.

132

:

Whatever, neither here nor there, right?

133

:

But, um, I wasn't being obedient.

134

:

I was mistaking things that I thought

were from the Lord and really weren't.

135

:

Um, so I've come a long

way since that moment.

136

:

But when I finally listened, when

I finally chose to put things in my

137

:

life that were going to be positive

for me and my children, um, before

138

:

anyone else, everything changed.

139

:

Everything changed and my

life is completely different.

140

:

I know that, um, people who are close to

me are like, "Uh, girl, are you okay?"

141

:

Like, "What's going on?"

142

:

But yeah, I'm okay.

143

:

And no, you don't need

to know what's going on.

144

:

And that's okay because my life

is in the hands of my Lord.

145

:

And what I decide is between

now, me, David, and the Lord.

146

:

That's it, as easy as that.

147

:

Um, and people should respect that.

148

:

But I know, I know from very, very

149

:

Personal experience with my own, um,

blood that people are always gonna

150

:

have something to say, and people are

always going to have something to share.

151

:

And at the end of the day, it should

not affect you because it's your

152

:

life, and the will of the Lord is

going to happen one way or another.

153

:

Come hell or high water, He is going

to get you where you have to be.

154

:

And the more you go against the grain

and listen to people around you, the

155

:

more things you're gonna topple over.

156

:

Um, and even if you go against the

grain, sometimes your decision is

157

:

going to topple the things that

you've been, like, holding onto.

158

:

So believe me, something's going to

happen before you have that breakthrough,

159

:

before you receive that blessing.

160

:

Um, anyway, my encouragement to you is,

guys, just first of all, please pray.

161

:

Please be in the Word.

162

:

Um, if it convicts you that you're doing

something wrong, um, then you should

163

:

probably stop doing what you're doing.

164

:

Um, you should make that decision

and be firm about that decision,

165

:

um, even if it, even if it has

to do with family that you love.

166

:

Like, unfortunately, you know,

people have made their mistakes.

167

:

People have done their lives, and

we just have to continue to do ours

168

:

as best as possible, and all while

glorifying God, um, or, you know,

169

:

trying to glorify God as best as we can.

170

:

So that's just my point with that.

171

:

Um, and I wanted to share, um,

because, like, how I had mentioned

172

:

David and I met on Dagmara's Live,

so it only seemed fitting that we

173

:

shared the news yesterday on her Live.

174

:

And of course, I'm … Even if

it doesn't seem like I'm horrible

175

:

with my words, I really am.

176

:

I don't ramble as much or I make

much more sense, rather, here on

177

:

my podcast because I'm technically

talking to myself when I record.

178

:

But when I'm put on the spot in front of

people, I'm not a people person, and I

179

:

fumble my words, like, left and right.

180

:

But he's much better

At expressing himself.

181

:

And this is just a little snippet,

which you can see I don't have,

182

:

like, my podcast stuff behind me.

183

:

But I'm gonna play the little

snippet of his announcement about our

184

:

marriage yesterday on Dagmara's Live.

185

:

And before I play it, please, please,

please go and follow her, especially

186

:

if you speak Spanish or if you have

family members who speak Spanish.

187

:

Um, e- even if you're not a follower

of Christ, listening to Proverbs and

188

:

listening to the wisdom that the Lord

left us in the Proverbs is something

189

:

that we can all relate to and use.

190

:

So Dagmara4, the number four,

Jesus, and that's in YouTube and

191

:

on TikTok, even on Instagram.

192

:

But without further ado, I'm

gonna play that little snippet

193

:

of the TikTok yesterday.

194

:

Bueno, mientras tantos.

195

:

Hera, ¿quieres

196

:

hablar tú?

197

:

¿Decir algo tú?

198

:

David, do you want to say anything?

199

:

¿Dar la información?

200

:

You want to give information?

201

:

Yes, um, I can since, you know, since

someone's over there with a little

202

:

bit of a nervous twitch over there.

203

:

Um, so I just wanna announce, it's

been my privilege and my pleasure,

204

:

to take Sarai as my beautiful bride.

205

:

As of yesterday, we got married yesterday.

206

:

And, I am just so blessed that

the Lord sent her, in my life.

207

:

And, my duty and my res- my responsibility

as a man of God is to cherish her,

208

:

protect her, love her, love her

children, protect her children- Yes,

209

:

sure does to my very last breath, and

that's exactly what I intend to do.

210

:

So, we're married.

211

:

Congratulations … the

reason why you decided that.

212

:

That's not me.

213

:

That- Oh.

214

:

What did I say?

215

:

Oh, his coworker started talking

to him, so she muted him.

216

:

Oh, this is what he thinks about lives.

217

:

This is why I don't do lives sometimes,

'cause it just, just gets a little crazy.

218

:

I muted him.

219

:

Let's see if I said s- … if

I said anything now.

220

:

Hold on.

221

:

Sadi, you wanna say anything?

222

:

There's a reason why I didn't say

anything, 'cause he's so much better.

223

:

Oh my

224

:

God.

225

:

Now, what should I say in Spanish?

226

:

Pero bueno, I got it here.

227

:

I don't recall if I said anything

else, but what I do recall saying

228

:

is that it only seemed fitting that

we made an announcement on her live,

229

:

to our friends that would watch,

because that's kind of like where he

230

:

and I met and how he and I started.

231

:

Like, kinda caught my eye and always

giving each other little googly

232

:

eyes, like, when she didn't know that

he and I would have conversations

233

:

and, and talk on, you know, on the

side, like, outside of the lives.

234

:

Um, but yes, the Lord has really

done a tremendous work in my life-

235

:

I feel extremely happy and

extremely blessed to have him.

236

:

I don't know where I would

be um, without him right now.

237

:

Not to say that I wouldn't have the Lord,

because I would always have Him, but when

238

:

you go through a lot of things, uh, in

your personal life, there's always the

239

:

risk of people walking away from the Lord.

240

:

And I don't think that that may

have happened to me, but then

241

:

again, you can never say never.

242

:

what I do know is that he lifts me up.

243

:

I lift him up.

244

:

And we're not perfect.

245

:

We have our little kerfuffles here

and there, whatever you wanna call it.

246

:

Um, but one thing that we do

know is that there is love.

247

:

We love each other, and most importantly,

we love God and we love Jesus Christ, and

248

:

He is at the center of our relationship.

249

:

And we both feel like the Lord

has very big plans for us.

250

:

Um, and as a couple, man, let me, let

me say, like, we've just … I feel

251

:

like we've already gone through so

much, and it's been a very short time.

252

:

But the Lord made it happen.

253

:

We're here.

254

:

We are married.

255

:

We are glorifying the name of Jesus, and,

um, we're glorifying our God because we

256

:

are married and we wanted to just be sure

that we were, doing things right, not just

257

:

because we're checking off a box, because

we do love each other, but anything

258

:

that we do do from here moving forward,

it has to be in the name of the Lord.

259

:

I hope and pray that anyone who's

watching this feels some sort of

260

:

encouragement, not just for their love

life, but for decisions that you do make

261

:

in your life, always with God at the

forefront, eyes on Him at all times.

262

:

If you feel and you pray and you really do

receive that response that that decision

263

:

is right or is wrong, don't do it,

then you have to listen to that because

264

:

whatever it is, the Lord is making a way

and He is preparing you for what He has.

265

:

He is preparing His will.

266

:

He is preparing His will to be,

to be done, to come to life,

267

:

to come to fruition for you.

268

:

and you have to have faith in that

because what God says, God does.

269

:

And I'm so grateful.

270

:

I'm so grateful that God really

came through for me, um, even when-

271

:

I gave him a run for his money.

272

:

I kept doing the opposite for

a long time, but He is faithful

273

:

and He is good, my friends.

274

:

So thank you for listening, thank

you for watching, and I will be

275

:

back next week with the Sound Mind

series in the Book of Revelation.

276

:

I love you guys.

277

:

God bless you and take care.

About the Podcast

I Can't (HE Can)
All things life, love, Christ.
Hello, everyone!! Welcome to I Can't (He Can) - a down to Earth and honest podcast about life's high's, lows, and everything in between.

This podcast began with the intent of sharing childhood experiences, love, raising children, careers, my walk with Christ - not to mention, unpacking (very personal) daily struggles. However, in the most recent months, the show has evolved into something much, much greater. In my humble opinion, of course. Not only do we discuss all of the above; but we also began "The Sound Mind Series" which is dedicated to reading different books of the NKJV bible, word for word! Join me as I share my life journey, walk with Christ and AND share the Word of God.

There is something for everyone. That, I can promise you. I pray this podcast not only entertains you - but more importantly - brings you closer to knowing and loving Jesus Christ. To that end, if you are not sure where your faith lies and/or if you're looking to grow closer to Jesus, THIS podcast is for you.

About your host

Sarai Collado

To whoever reads this:
I'm glad you're here and I hope you stay a while. There is something I need to give back to the world - and to you.

That 'something' is my story, my life and my words that were once marked by pain, but are now marked by love and a new found faith in Christ. But hold it right there! Do not be quick to judge. While the root of all my talks are founded in the Bible - do not mistake what I have to say for 'unremarkable' or 'not relatable'.

My story is different than yours. However, if there is one thing we 100% have in common, it's that God has always been with us. If you agree - stick around. If you DON'T agree - stick around too. Let me show the unbeliever, the doubter, and the unsure person, how God has always been there.
